1. Tell Firefox to trust the APPLEBOX connection
When you first visit the Back Office URL, Firefox will prompt you that the 'Connection is Untrusted' because we haven't had our secure connection externally certified. The connection is however secure and you are in direct contact with us as an organisation, so to direct Firefox to accept the site as trusted:
- Click 'I Understand The Risks' to accept this.
- Then click the 'Add Exception' button so Firefox remembers you trust the connection.
- Finally click the 'Confirm Security Exception' to finish the process.
2. Tell Firefox to allow mixed content from APPLEBOX
Firefox changed it's default configuration with the latest release, so we must revert those configuration settings to what APPLEBOX is expecting. If you go to the Back Office URL and instead of a login page you see this:
Please follow the steps below to give you access to the system.
STEP 1
Type about:config in the url bar:

Press enter, and you will then be given this:
STEP 3
Click the I'll be careful button to proceed to this:
STEP 4
In the search box, enter the word 'mixed' (no quotes), hit enter/return and you will this:
STEP 5
The line we are interested in says 'block_active_content.: If you double click that, it will turn the value 'true' to 'false' (on the far right) to look like this (highlighted below):

Return to the APPLEBOX office URL and you will now be able to log in.
